Krzysztof Gawkowski took part in HumanTech Summit 2024 as a special guest. The next edition is HumanTech Summit 2026, the English-language human-centered AI conference in Warsaw (3–5 December 2026, Central House of Technology).
Born in 1980. Politician and social activist. Doctor of humanities and graduate of postgraduate studies in labor law at the University of Warsaw.
Since 2019, Member of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland. From 2021, vice-chairman of the New Left party. In the years 2019-2023, Chairman of the Left Parliamentary Club. Member of the parliamentary committee on digitization, innovation and modern technologies.
On December 13, 2023, he was appointed to the office of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Affairs.
Academic lecturer and expert in the field of national cybersecurity. In the years 2015-2020, member of the technical committee of the Polish Committee for Standardization.
Author of many scientific articles and monographic works in the field of new technologies, digitalization, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, including the book awarded with distinction from the Polish Information Technology Society entitled "Cybercolonialism".
