Włodzisław Duch is a member of the Scientific Committee of HumanTech Summit 2026, the English-language human-centered AI conference in Warsaw (3–5 December 2026, Central House of Technology).
Włodzisław Duch is a full professor of informatics at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, where he heads the Neurocognitive Laboratory at the Interdisciplinary Center of Modern Technologies. His research spans computational intelligence, neuroinformatics and cognitive science. He served two terms as President of the European Neural Network Society, is an INNS Fellow, and was Poland's Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education in 2014–2015.
