Workshops Description

  1. Recovering Lost Cultural Works - Volha Bandarenka, Piotr Jędruszczak | Fixafilm, USWPS

In this workshop, we will explore the potential of artificial intelligence in reimagining lost cultural artifacts. We’ll demonstrate how to use AI to create new interpretations of lost works, based on preserved fragments, descriptions, and documentation.

Our journey starts with the works of Franciszka and Stefan Themerson, pioneers of avant-garde film, whose legacy serves as a foundation for experimental work with AI technology.

Focus on practical applications of AI in recovering and reinterpreting art.

Case Study – The Themersons' lost film "Calling" as an example, exploring how to create a stylistic model from archival materials.

Using contemporary AI tools to offer a fresh perspective on cultural heritage and make it accessible to younger generations.

The goal is creative reinterpretation rather than faithful reconstruction, staying true to the avant-garde spirit and open to experimentation with technology. As Jasia Reichardt, the Themersons' niece, noted: if they were alive today, they would certainly embrace the possibilities of artificial intelligence in their work.

Join us to experiment, reinterpret, and bring lost art back to life with the power of AI.

  2. How to create interactive VR training in 2 hours? No-code solutions as a new era of education and skill development - Małgorzata Steciak, Konrad Ziaja | CinematicVR

Research shows that training using VR can be up to four times more effective than traditional methods. VR films in training provide a unique experience—a realistic portrayal of human emotions and interactions, which (for now) is unachievable with avatars. This format enables participants to enhance their soft skills (and more) in a natural and convincing way.

During this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own interactive VR training with guidance from the instructors and explore the potential of XR technology.

CinematicVR is an XR creative agency that has implemented VR training solutions for organizations such as the Polish Judges Association IUSTITIA, Warsaw Trams, Żabka, Leroy Merlin, and ArcelorMittal. We have also conducted a series of XR workshops and training sessions for institutions, including Jagiellonian University, the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution, and the European Judicial Training Network.

Our mission emphasizes creating VR training tools that are not only effective but also accessible to everyone, with a focus on clear user interface (UX), cost-efficiency, and ease of integrating VR technology into diverse sectors.

VR and no-code technology solutions represent the future of training, allowing companies to quickly and effectively create their own materials without the need for programming. Our vision is to democratize access to advanced VR tools, enabling broad application in education, industry, and business, opening doors to a more effective and engaging learning process.
Dzięki temu organizacje mogą skuteczniej zarządzać danymi, redukować koszty energetyczne i zwiększać kontrolę nad procesami przetwarzania języka naturalnego. Uczestnicy dowiedzą się, jak wdrażać i używać Bielika do własnych potrzeb, promując zrównoważoną i otwartą cyfryzację.
